Omani Police Arrests 3 for Drug Smuggling

A Royal Oman Police (ROP) boat has foiled an attempt to smuggle khat across the sea into Oman. The ROP arrested three people in Dhofar Governorate in this regard.
In a statement issued online, the ROP said, "A police boat has caught a boat for the smuggling of narcotic drugs (khat), in the eastern part of Wilayat Mirbat. Three people of Arab nationality were on board. Legal proceedings are underway."
